This exhibition is a portal into other dimensions of artistic expression, aesthetic experimentation, beauty, poetry and critique. It is the result of a process of identifying 20 exemplary works of digital and internet art from the south asian and southeast asian region. In particular works that signify shifting formal and aesthetic standards that tap into the idea of the internet as a deterritorialized site, a space providing the possibility of movement in all directions.

Is a performance video looking at the act of hugging as an agent of slowness, presenting two
queer bodies as they inch closer to each other in a soft tender approach. Serving as a
commentary on the basic fundamental human need to be loved and held. With the domination of virtual space and the inability to anchor oneself within the physical world, the simple act of an embracing becomes even more sacred.
