Title: It’s all coming back to me now.
A series of long exposure images that was inspired by the journey that we underwent during the trip. As we wove in and out of the city, I became very aware of my body’s situation at the time and place, but as I recount the moments throughout the trip the events starts becoming murky, as the experiences collapse onto each other.
The practice of weaving holds significance to the cultural heritage of the Sarawakians, and I wanted to pay homage to that via my own means of interpretation. As such I wanted to create a series of images that articulated the movement of the body moving through space and playing around with the visuals taken from this experience.
